Representing Our Community at the Fair

Deep-fried Oreos, blue-ribbon steer, and the College Area Community Garden–just a few things you could find at the fair this year!

Our booth was appropriately located in the Garden Show area, among beautiful displays of flowers and landscapes. Carol, our Board President, gave a wonderful talk preaching about the history of the garden, and our values of education, sustainability, and community. She shared all our exciting initiatives, including easy ways that volunteers can get involved. Plus, we handed out stickers–because who doesn’t love stickers?

It was a wonderful day at the fair. Thank you to all who volunteered to spread the word about our garden!
